The short answer
No store near you can legally sell a Geek Bar. FDA has never authorized any Geek Bar product, and it says the 48 vapes on its authorized list are the only ones that may be lawfully sold in the United States, Colorado included.
Colorado has no state vape list of its own, but that doesn't change the federal rule, and Denver's flavor ban separately bars stores there from selling flavored Geek Bars. We don't point to sellers. The legal options are authorized vapes from Glas, JUUL, Logic, NJOY and Vuse.
Where to Buy Geek Bar
There is nowhere to buy a Geek Bar legally in the United States, because no Geek Bar product has FDA authorization. Federal law requires every new vape to have an FDA marketing order before it is sold, and FDA's list of authorized e-cigarettes, which it calls the only ones that may be lawfully sold, still had no Geek Bar on it when we checked on October 6, 2026.
A store or website selling Geek Bars is breaking that rule, whatever its sign or license says, so we don't list sellers or send readers to them. FDA has warned stores directly: in December 2024 it sent warning letters to 115 retailers over unauthorized disposables, including Geek Bar Pulse, Skyview and Platinum.
What Is a Geek Bar?
A Geek Bar is a disposable nicotine vape from a Chinese company: FDA has described the brand as owned by Chinese manufacturers, and Florida's state list names the maker as Shenzhen Geekvape Technology (Florida Attorney General).
Geek Bar's product list includes disposables such as the Pulse line, plus pod systems, and its pages carry a nicotine warning. None of those products is FDA authorized.
Is Geek Bar Banned?
Geek Bar is banned from legal sale in every US state, because FDA has never authorized any Geek Bar product. FDA's softer enforcement policy from May 2026 doesn't change that. It lowers the priority for some unauthorized vapes whose applications FDA has accepted, but it makes no product legal, and Geek Bar says on its own site that its applications include no flavored products other than tobacco and menthol pods.
States add their own bans. Eleven ban the sale of vapes that aren't on a state list or don't meet FDA application rules, Florida bans Geek Bar Pulse and Pulse X by name, and Texas bans vapes made in China under SB 2024. Our page on the Geek Bar ban by state covers each one.
Is Geek Bar Legal in Colorado?
Geek Bar is not legal to sell in Colorado, even though Colorado has no state vape list of its own. A 2024 bill, HB24-1356, began as a ban on vapes without FDA authorization, but the version signed in June 2024 only made selling vapes to underage buyers a deceptive trade practice. The federal rule still applies here, so a Colorado retailer license doesn't make a Geek Bar sale legal. Our guide to Colorado vape laws has the state's other rules.
Denver adds a second bar. Since January 1, 2026, stores there can't sell flavored nicotine products, menthol included, and a store caught selling one faces a $1,000 fine for a first violation, rising to $5,000 and a one-year license suspension for a fourth (Denver fine schedule). The federal rule targets sellers: FDA said in 2022 that it cannot and will not enforce against people who possess or use tobacco products.
Geek Bar Pulse X
Geek Bar Pulse X belongs to Geek Bar's Pulse line of disposables, and like every Geek Bar it has no FDA authorization, so no store can legally sell it. Florida put Pulse and Pulse X products on its list of banned disposables that appeal to minors on December 30, 2024. A new model name doesn't change the status: no Pulse product is on FDA's list.
Why Geek Bars Are Hard to Find
Geek Bars are hard to find at stores that follow the law, because every sale risks warning letters, seized stock and, in some places, state or city fines. Federal agents have seized Geek Bars before they reach shelves, including in an October 2024 operation that took about 3 million unauthorized vapes shipped from China and a January 2025 seizure at a Miami warehouse. An FDA import alert lets inspectors hold unauthorized vapes at the border without examining them.
Once the vapes are inside the US, the risk shifts to the store. FDA says it has sent more than 1,000 warning letters to stores and websites over unauthorized tobacco products, several states seize unlisted vapes, and in Denver a flavored Geek Bar on the shelf can bring a city fine.
Geek Bar Delivery
Geek Bar delivery isn't legal in Colorado or anywhere else in the US, because no one can legally sell a Geek Bar to begin with. Colorado also bans shipping vapes straight to consumers. The one exception lets a licensed Colorado store with a state permit deliver, with its owner or an employee who is 21 or older checking photo ID at the door, and a permit can't make an unauthorized product legal to sell.
The Postal Service has banned mailing vapes since October 2021, with narrow exceptions. FDA has also gone after websites selling Geek Bars, warning five online retailers in July 2024 and nine online firms that December over flavored disposables.
Fake Geek Bars
Fake Geek Bars are a known problem: the company has warned about counterfeit Geek Bar Pulse vapes in the US market, and its verification page lists copycat websites that use the Geek Bar name. The same page checks pack security codes, but a genuine Geek Bar is no more authorized than a fake: neither one is legal to sell.
Legal Alternatives to Geek Bar
Legal alternatives to Geek Bar are the 48 vapes FDA has authorized, all made by five companies: Glas, JUUL, Logic, NJOY and Vuse. Our FDA authorized vapes page lists every one. Most come in tobacco or menthol flavor. The only other flavors, two Glas pods FDA authorized on May 5, 2026, work only in a device locked to the user's verified ID and phone, and no fruit or candy flavored disposable is on the list.
In Denver, the flavor ban narrows that to tobacco flavor. Our directory lists vape and smoke shops across Colorado by city; if you want a vape a store can legally sell, ask for one on FDA's list.
Geek Bar Near Me FAQ
This Geek Bar near me FAQ answers the questions adults ask most.
Does Geek Bar make a THC vape?
Geek Bar doesn't make a THC vape: its official product list has only nicotine products, so a THC product sold under the Geek Bar name is a knockoff. Our fake vapes guide covers knockoffs like these.
Can a Colorado vape shop sell Geek Bar?
A Colorado vape shop can't legally sell Geek Bar, because a state license doesn't override the federal rule that only FDA authorized vapes may be sold.
What vapes can Denver stores legally sell?
Denver stores can legally sell only FDA authorized vapes in tobacco flavor, since federal law bars unauthorized vapes and Denver's ban covers every other flavor, menthol included.
Could Geek Bar become legal to sell?
Geek Bar could become legal to sell only if FDA authorizes it, and FDA has announced no decision on any Geek Bar product.
